Registration Open
The Consortium of National Law Universities has opened CLAT 2027 registration on 3 August 2026, with the application window closing 31 October 2026 and the exam itself scheduled for 6 December 2026. CLAT is the single entrance exam that opens admission to all 26 National Law Universities across India — one of the most competitive undergraduate entrance exams in the country.
A significant update this cycle: the Consortium has expanded to include NLU Tripura (Agartala) and NLU Meghalaya (Shillong) into the All-India seat-sharing pool — good news for Northeast India aspirants who now have more regional options within the CLAT system.
