UPSC DEFENCE EXAM 2026
CDS 2 Exam
13 September

The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2026 on 13 September 2026 — the same day as NDA 2 — for 451 vacancies across the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers' Training Academy (OTA). Unlike NDA, CDS is for graduates seeking entry as commissioned officers, making it the graduate-level pathway into the Armed Forces.

Selected candidates will join courses commencing in July 2027 (IMA/INA/AFA) or October 2027 (OTA). With the exam under three weeks away, candidates should be in final revision mode.
